Institute for Nuclear Research of the The Institute
was founded in 1970 with the aim of further development of experimental base and
scientific studies in the field of atomic and nuclear physics, physics of
elementary particles and cosmic rays, neutrino astrophysics etc. For these
purposes the Moscow Meson Factory (MMF) based on a high intensity linear
accelerator of protons and H- ions has been built in the Scientific
Research Centre of the Academy of Sciences ( Troitsk, Moscow region). Accelerator Division (AD) is an
organization department of the Institute subordinated to the director of
Institute. |
