In the paper a possibility of using the lead isotope, Pb-208, (52.3 % of the natural mix of isotopes) in the
eutectic of lead and bismuth (Pb-Bi), nowadays used in Europe as a material of a target and blanket of Accelerator Driven Systems (ADS), such as the XT-ADS and MYRRHA is considered. Spectra of neutrons and protons in and outside the target from Pb-208(80%)-Bi(20%) are calculated. It is shown that in such target a harder spectrum of neutrons is realized in comparison with the target from the conventional eutectic of natural lead (Pb-nat) and bismuth, Pb-nat(45%)-Bi(55%). The induced activity of the modified lead-bismuth target is reduced due to its depleting by neutrons of intermediate energy, 10-100 keV, and reduction the bismuth quantity in its contents from 55% to 20%.
