First Neutrino Events at T2K

Twentieth anniversary of INR Linac. The first drift tube tank of INR Linac has been put in operation in December 1988. The 20 MeV beam with a 46 mA peak current was obtained. The 20-th anniversary is celebrated by carrying out the 81-st accelerator run.

The Collaboration K2K has announced a new result on neutrino oscillations. (details...)

The problem is how to convert long-lived radioactive components of the used nuclear fuel (UNF) into rapidly decaying isotopes. (details...)

Russian neutron complex looks to future research programme. (details...)

A possible explanation of the results, obtained by underground detectors during Supernova SN 1987A explosion, - with an instant appearance of a very bright star, with luminosity of about tens millions of the solar one. (details...)

On the 30-th of April, 2004 at 4 in the morning the source 37r with an activity of more than 400 kCi was installed in the gallium-germanium neutrino telescope for the first exposure. (details...)

Regularities in formation of isomeric states in different nuclear reactions induced by intermediate energy protons are investigated. Tantalum target is taken as an example. A new systematics has been suggested describing the process of isomeric states formation as well as theoretical interpretation of the observed phenomena. (details...)
